Vol. 1 No. 1 (2021): The first issue of the Journal of Business Economics for Applied Research
Dear Esteemed Reader,
This issue is published as Iraq continues to overcome numerous trials and tribulations experienced across various stages of its history and events. The nation has faced relentless conspiracies and acts of aggression aimed at dismantling its economic structure and distorting its model of development and progress.
However, the resolve to rise and stand tall has shaken the very foundations of such aggression in all its forms. It has become evident to the world that Iraq is a land of peace and determination—a country steadfast in its pursuit of construction and advancement.
This inaugural issue showcases a diverse range of research in the fields of administration, economics, statistics, and accounting. It suffices to say that creativity in Iraq has flourished, defying even theories of growth and underdevelopment. These theories now appear baseless when tested against the reality on the ground.
As an editorial board, we can confidently state that the volume and quality of research submitted to us have significantly increased in depth and rigor. This positive development has motivated us to double our efforts to publish more issues to meet this growing demand.
We aspire for our journal to serve as an intellectual reservoir, attracting free expression and constructive ideas. It is our hope that it becomes a valuable resource for our dear students, respected readers, and researchers in the specialized fields addressed by the journal.
We trust that this issue will meet your expectations. We pledge to continue our endeavors to establish the foundations of knowledge, progress, and development in our beloved Iraq and the broader Arab world.
May Allah grant us success in this noble endeavor.
