The impact of contemporary economic trends of the international monetary system on some reforms and changes in developing countries (Iraq as a model)
Abstract
In the world, many economies have witnessed, especially developing ones, many changes related to the process of economic reform, which it is a set of measures aimed at addressing the structural imbalances affecting the economies of those countries, that have witnessed the achievement of economic stability as a whole. The economic reform policy is among the important policies that aim to achieve Economic stability, and it has been applied by many countries of the world, especially developing ones, because of the economic problems that those countries were suffering from in and those attempt to solve problems.
As like other developing countries, Iraq suffers from economic problems and structural imbalances due to dependence on the oil sector, as its economy is unilateral and rentier. After 2003, the philosophy of the Iraqi economy changed from a totalitarian economy to a market economy. It worked to take important measures in attempt to prepare the Iraqi economy for the reform process. Despite the results achieved, cannot be depended on , because it was not at the required level.
