The role of authentic leadership in reducing job burnout An analytical study of a sample of academic leaders at the University of Fallujah
Abstract
The current research aims to know the nature of the relationship of influence between authentic leadership and job burnout, and which dimensions of authentic leadership have the most influence on job burnout. The (descriptive-analytical) approach was employed, which involves collecting, classifying, interpreting, analyzing, and describing data in an accurate manner to arrive at a logical interpretation,(134) individuals were selected to form a purposive sample that included academic and administrative leaders at the University of Fallujah, represented by the university president, his assistants, and college dean, The tool used is the questionnaire as the main tool for collecting data, and the study was based on the SPSS.V.25 statistical program, The study produced a number of results, the most notable of which is a correlation and moral effects between authentic leadership and job burnout at the University of Fallujah, and there was a positive and strong correlation between the variables,The current research recommends the need to pay attention to the dimensions of authentic leadership by supporting authentic behavior among employees by following a high standard of ethical behavior in accordance with the standards of internal moral values.
