The role of digital transformation in achieving sustainable organizational excellence through local human resources strategy

This research paper aims to explore the pivotal role of digital transformation in achieving sustainable organizational excellence, focusing on the critical importance of effective human resource strategies in this context. The study seeks to understand how the adoption of digital technologies impacts human resource performance, thereby contributing to the achievement of overall organizational goals at the Ministry of Higher Education. The study relied on a quantitative approach to data collection and analysis. A questionnaire was designed and distributed to a random sample of 200 employees at the Ministry of Higher Education. The study used descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis to assess the relationship between digital transformation, human resource management practices, and employee performance. The results are expected to demonstrate a positive relationship between digital transformation and human resource performance at the Ministry of Higher Education. Additionally, the results are expected to highlight the importance of effective human resource management practices, such as training and development, compensation and incentives, and performance evaluation, in enhancing the impact of digital transformation on employee performance and achieving organizational excellence. These expected results emphasize the importance of organizations embracing digital transformation in human resource management to improve efficiency, enhance employee experience, and make better data-driven decisions. The study indicates that investing in training and developing employees' digital skills, in addition to using big data analytics, can contribute to achieving sustainable organizational excellence. The study recommends that institutions, particularly the Ministry of Higher Education, adopt comprehensive strategies for digital transformation in human resources, focusing on developing technological infrastructure and preparing employees to leverage modern digital tools and technologies. These strategies can help improve organizational performance, enhance employee well-being, and achieve a sustainable competitive advantage.
